without love | poetry

Airport, 2016.

/

packing our luggage, as
we bury our longing.
step out, saying
goodbye, love.

same town, different hopes.
this town rain more often.
ask you for two warm hands, because
i can’t think of someone else,
other than, you.

maybe the reason we stay
is not because the love.
but how we carry each other
in every heartbeat, unconsciously.
like the dawn carries its dew,
cold and beautiful.

— without love.
